On the other hand, Harris remains out with a concussion suffered in Miami’s last loss, 24-19 at Virginia on Oct. 30. Coach Randy Shannon has indicated that freshman Stephen Morris will make his third straight start.

“I’m looking at what is best for Jacory,” Shannon said. “It’s not what’s best for Randy Shannon or this football team.”

Furthermore, Morris may get another start this week with Harris’ concussion possibly keeping him out again. Morris will have plenty of support from Miami’s running game, which got Damien Berry back last week and averages 185.8 yards per game.

Tony Parker Counterfiled For Divorce

Tony Parker counterfiled for divorce against wife Longoria who filed two days earlier.

Celebrity news website TMZ.com has found documents which showed that Parker has filed a petition in Bexar County in Texas where a divorce can be finalized as quickly as 60 days.

According to the petition, as reported by TMZ, Parker stated that “the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent”.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court spokeswoman confirmed to ABCNews.com that Longoria filed for divorce from Parker on Wednesday morning, citing irreconcilable differences.

Longoria wished to restore her legal name from Eva Longoria Parker to Eva Jacqueline Longoria, according to the petition she filed.

The couple had a prenuptial agreement and have no children together.

Parker stated in his filed petition filed that “petitioner believes Petitioner and Respondent will enter into an agreement for the division of their estate,” which may indicate a possible legal battle to come.

Us Weekly magazine reports that Parker’s “inappropriate” text messages with another woman, who was later named Erin Barry, led to the couple’s split.

According to the magazine, Longoria recently discovered that Parker has been exchanging personal texts with a mutual female friend for nearly a year — in one month, they reportedly exchanged hundreds of messages.

“Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him,” a friend of Longoria’s told the magazine. “She’s inconsolable.”

Good Ol’ Sweet Potato Recipes

Sweet potato, a vitamin-rich tuberous rootcrop, is one of the most nutritious food you could ever find. It is also taste good that countries all over the world have their own culinary tricks in bringing out the sweet potato goodness.

Sweet potatoes are often served in America on Thanksgiving. Sweet potato pie is also a traditional favorite dish in southern American cuisine. In rural Kentucky, it is a traditional food wherein it is sliced and fried in bacon drippings and is eaten with the bacon on toast.

Actually,there is a long list about it. But here is the best tasting of all:

MARSHMALLOW SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

8 medium sweet potatoes
2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup hot milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 pound marshmallows

1. Cook sweet potatoes until tender.
2. Remove skins and mash.
3. When smooth, beat in butter, milk, salt, spices.
4. Beat well.
5. Fold in walnuts and turn into buttered baking dish.
6. Top with marshmallows and bake at 350°F until marshmallows puff and become golden brown.

Sweet Potato Candy

Ingredients:

6 medium sweet potatoes
¼ cup butter or margarine
2 tbsp water
½ cup syrup
¼ cup brown sugar

Procedure:

1. Wash sweet potatoes and partially cook in boiling water for 15 minutes.
2. Drain and peel. Slice into ¾ inch thick strips. Set aside.
3. Place all other ingredients in a hot heavy skillet.
4. Drop sweet potato strips in skillet. Cook slowly mixing occasionally until camote strips are tender and well glazed. Makes about 3-4 servings.

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State vs Kansas Live Score and Highlights

On the other hand, Kansas, which fell to 3-7 overall last weekend with a 20-3 loss to Nebraska. The Jayhawks are just 1-5 versus Big 12 Conference competition in this, Turner Gill’s first season as head coach of the program.

With their all time game series, Kansas leads the all-time series 29-28-3, but Oklahoma State has won five of six since the Big 12 was formed in 1996, including victories in all three matchups in Lawrence.

NCAA Football: Purdue vs Michigan State Live Score and Coverage on Big Ten

On the other hand, the Purdue, is on a downward spiral following four consecutive losses. The Boilermakers were defeated 27-16 by Michigan last weekend, leaving them at 4-6 and in need of consecutive victories to have a shot at the postseason.

The Boilermakers hope to have Henry against the Spartans, otherwise they’ll have to give freshman Sean Robinson a fourth straight start. In the first three, Robinson was 38 of 81 for 271 yards with five interceptions and two touchdowns.

Furthermore, the Boilermakers used three different QBs last weekend, but the move didn’t really pay off considering the offense failed to score a TD and managed just 256 total yards in a loss to Michigan. Purdue actually had two QBs in the game at all times, as Rob Henry also saw time at TB. Henry even led the team with in rushing with 75 yards, but passed for only 54 on 5-of-9 attempts.

Denard Robinson, who ranks second in the FBS with 340.7 yards of total offense per game, passed for 176 yards, but was held to 68 rushing while finishing with two fumbles and two interceptions. However, he put the game out of reach by setting up Stephen Hopkins 3-yard touchdown run with 1:58 remaining.

With their game series history, Michigan owns a 49-13-1 series advantage over Wisconsin, including 27-6 in Ann Arbor. Last season, however, the Badgers thumped the Wolverines in Madison by a 45-24 final.

Raleigh Christmas Parade 2010 Start Time and Live Coverage – The 66th Annual Raleigh Christmas parade is on Saturday, November 19, 2010. The event live coverage will begin at exactly 9:30 am and will be hosted by Wral’s Bill Lesley and Kelcey Carlson with Brian Shrader for the road anchorman.

For all the starters, this is to inform you that the deck parking is totally free for the Raleigh Christmas parade 2010 that begins at Hillsborough and St. Mary’s Streets.  The route is rather simple, especially if you intend to walk along with the passing parade. From there, the route will take you straight to the Capitol and right into Salisbury and finally will en at Fayetteville Street.

The said parade will take 1.4 miles and will last for about 2.5 hours. The Parade telecast airs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on WRAL-TV and it will be rebroadcast on Christmas morning.

Apparently, the parade is a festive that will be full of stunning costumes and decorative holiday cheer, including bands, twirlers, floats and more. This is considered as the largest parade between the Washington D.C and Atlanta.

The Raleigh Christmas parade 2010 WRAL event-planners suggest that those along the route prepare for chilly weather.  WRAL’s forecast calls for clear skies, but temperatures that dive down into 50′s with a high of only 65.  Burr!
